The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Please give blood.
Whereas, the volunteers of the Englishtown Fire Department continue to provide the highest level of fire and emergency medical service to this community and display the willingness, courage, wisdom and strength it takes to serve those in need; and
Whereas, from the daunting task of fighting fires to responding to accidents and emergency medical situations, the volunteers have remained valiant members of the Borough of Englishtown Fire Department and have come to the aid of their neighbors day and night, without pay and oftentimes with complete disregard for their own well-being.
Therefore, Be It Resolved that I, Councilwoman Cindy Robilotti on behalf of Mayor Thomas Reynolds, and the Borough Of Englishtown, thank you for your dedicated service and recognize and appreciate the invaluable service you perform to all who call the Borough of Englishtown home.
